SUSPENSION UPGRADES
Many people find that after they have a wheelchair or scooter lift installed, they face issues with the lift dragging, their car bottoming out, and poor vehicle handling. Griffin Mobility has the answer for these issues, with custom turned coil springs and other suspension upgrades.
Custom turned coil springs are the perfect remedy for small to large sedans that have had a wheelchair lift added to the rear of the vehicle. We usually turn these springs to handle 400lbs above the stock springs. We also add 1/2" of rise at the axle, which will translate to approximately 5" of rise at the lift. Coil spring upgrades are a one-time solution, because you never have to perform adjustments or repairs, unlike airbags or air shocks.
